“As a surgeon, I enjoy and take pride in solving complex problems and finding the best ways to fix them. Diseases of the colon and rectum, in particular, are often embarrassing or difficult to talk about. As a specialist I take joy in being able to comfort patients and work through these problems with them and their family members so they can return to enjoying their lives.”
